The management board of the Croatian incumbent Hrvatski Telekom (HT) has decided to launch a share buyback programme.
It will start next Monday (July 3) and last until April 20, 2021.
HT currently has 81,888,535 ordinary shares issued without nominal value, 2,966 of which are own shares. Under the terms of programme, a maximum of 2.5 million shares are scheduled for acquisition, while the maximum assigned to the programme is HRK500 million (€67.4 million).
Acquired own shares in the programme are to be withdrawn without reducing the issued share capital by which the portion of the remaining shares will be increased.
HT plans to cancel the acquired own shares at the end of each financial year.
The programme will be implemented by InterCapital vrijednosni papyri, which will acquire HT shares on the regulated market of Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) by a book of offers, independently and without any impact on HT with regard to the share acquisition timing.
In addition, the programme envisages block-transactions, scheduled (OTC) transactions, or organised “tender” offers at the ZSE.
The provisions of the programme are subject to amendments at any time during its duration.
