Poland’s Polsat has secured the rights to both the Champions and Europa Leagues for three seasons, beginning 2018/19.
In an official statement, it says that the rights encompass a total of 1,029 matches, or 343 per season, and all methods of distribution, including TV, the internet and mobile devices.
It adds that all the matches will be shown only on Polsat channels, while the only digital platform to offer them will be Cyfrowy Polsat.
The rights are currently held by the DTH platform nc+ and it said in a statement that according to its information from the season 2018/18 selected Champions League games played on Wednesdays will be offered FTA.
Like the final, they will therefore also be made available to nc+ subscribers.
Furthermore, as in previous seasons, all games in both competitions involving Polish clubs will also be shown on FTA channels and therefore offered to nc+ subscribers.
