Jaroslav Reznik is to become the new DG of the Slovak public broadcaster RTVS.
He was chosen by MPs in the second round of a secret ballot and will take up the post in August, replacing the incumbent and ballot runner up Vaclav Mika.
Reznik is currently the head of the TASR press agency and led the public broadcaster Slovak Radio between 1997 and 2005.
