Poland’s Cyfrowy Polsat has introduced new software for its proprietary HD set-top boxes.
Its features include intuitive navigation; quick and easy access to online services such as Cyfrowy Polsat GO and HBO GO, along with over 700 movies, 120 series and documentaries from HBO; and a new and very readable layout of TV programmes, highlighting favourites and even offering previews of upcoming content.
The new software has already been introduced into the HD 5000 and HD 6000 decoders and will shortly also be added to the Mini HD 2000, HD 3000, HD 55000 and PVR HD 7000.
Cyfrowy Polsat operates the national commercial station Polsat and a large portfolio of thematic channels.
It is also, through the Cyfrowy Polsat DTH platform, the leading provider of pay-TV services in Poland.
