The Italian DTH platform tivùsat has now passed the 3 million active smartcard mark.
Launched on July 1, 2009, it has enjoyed steady growth throughout its existence and registered over 1.26 million million activations since the country switched off analogue broadcasting in 2013.
This growth has continued into 2017 and currently over 9% of Italian homes receive their TV services via tivùsat.
Tivùsat currently offers viewers more than 90 channels, 30 of which are in HD, alongside 43 radio stations, a large selection of on demand services, three Ultra HD channel streams covering major events and the seven-day catch-up service TivuOn.
