Poland’s 4fun Media plans to launch a specialised lifestyle channel in the fourth quarter.
Speaking to Wirtualne Media, Rafal Baran, the company’s president, said that it would differ from the many channels that already offer dance music.
Furthermore, 4Fun Media is looking for was to make it distinctive in order to reach its target audience.
4Fun Media currently has three music channels – 4Fun TV, 4Fun Dance and 4Fun Gold Hits – in its portfolio, all of which offer mostly bands of music videos.
According to Nielsen Audience Measurement, its channels had a combined audience share of 0.26% in 2016.
4Fun Media is part of the Capital Group and majority (54.42%) owned by Cyprus-based Nova Group, with the remaining 45.58% being owned by holders of less than 5% of shares.
