German pay-TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland will show the UEFA Champions League final between Real Madrid and Juventus Turin in Virtual Reality (VR) in collaboration with Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe on June 3, 2017.
Subscribers of the Sony Playstation (PS) Plus service with a PS VR headset will be able to virtually watch the game from the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. They will have received by e-mail a link through which they can register free of charge to receive the VR stream on Sky Deutschland’s OTT platform Sky Ticket.
With the PS VR Live app, participating users can watch the game with a 180° view along with live match statistics and social media feeds.
“After several VR live tests, the customers with a Playstation VR will be able to enjoy a live transmission from the UEFA Champions League in Virtual Reality for the first time in Germany.
