The Czech operator Digi TV has launched a new package aimed primarily at DTT viewers who are considering changing due to poor signal quality.
Named Start, it will be allow them to watch 32 channels from Digi’s DTH service and 23 channels, mostly in HD, from its internet offer Digi2Go.
Start will be eligible for a 50% summer discount that is being applied to all Digi TV products from June 1 to August 31.
As a result, it will cost CZK75 (€2.47) a month, and as a bonus subscribers will also receive six premium channels from the broader Digi TV offer free of charge for six months.
Other incentives include free satellite installation, a 50% discount on set-top boxes for the first six months and Digi2Go for six months free of charge.
Broadband TV News notes that Digi TV’s targeting of DTT viewers is significant as terrestrial TV viewing is more popular than cable and DTH in the Czech Republic.
