Ukraine’s leading cable operator Volia has acquired the Airbites group of companies for an undisclosed fee.
As a result, it will start to offer Volia-branded services to Airbites subscribers from June 1.
The purchase will see Volia strengthen its position in the cities of Lviv, Rivne, Khmelnytsky, Kharkiv and Lutsk, as well as enter the market in Ivano-Frankivsk for the first time.
Once it has fully integrated Airbites’ assets into its own operations on July 1, Volia will be able to provide subscribers with a full range of services.
Volia has invested over UAH1.5 billion (€50.6 million) over the last three years.
