The Municipal Court in Prague has upheld a record fine of CZK9.5 million (€358,000) imposed on the M7 Group.
According to Parabola, it was imposed by the Czech Telecommunications Office (CTU) for failing to comply with the statutory obligation of notifying the regulator about the commencing its activities in the Czech Republic.
M7 Group, which operates the DTH platform Skylink, began providing communication services in the country at the beginning of 2013 but only notified the CTU in May 2014.
