The Czech Republic’s leading broadcaster TV Nova has added the blue button to its HbbTV application.
As previously reported by Broadband TV News, it was successfully tested on the proprietary channel Nova Gold last month.
According to Nova, the blue button’s main use will be to highlight interesting content and for marketing purposes.
It adds that viewers and owners of smart TVs with HbbTV will now be able to access Nova’s services on the red button and special offers on the blue one.
Nova also says that it has introduced additional news, along with a sport section and weather forecast, in its HbbTV application.
