Regarding Poland, it already distributes four complementary channels in the country and does not plan to introduce any more at this stage.
Wiley also confirmed, as previously reported by Broadband TV News, that Poland may be one of the first countries in Europe to receive the A+E Networks SVOD services History Vault and Lifetime Movie Club.
In addition, she expressed regret at A+E Networks not having been award a channel licence for Poland’s newest DTT multiplex (MUX 8).
In her view, at least some of the winners will have to enter into partnerships with strong TV players if they are to make their ventures a success.
