M7 adds eSports TV to HD Austria

May 16, 2017 09.42 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

M7 Group has added electronic sports channel eSports TV to its Austrian HDTV platform HD Austria.

The channel available in Austria exclusively on HD Austria shows the major national and international tournaments of the Electronic Sports League (ESL) and other competitions 24 hours per day.

eSports TV is offered as an OTT service accessible by all subscribers of the HD Austria Kombi package using the HD Austria set-top-box or PVR, the smartphone/tablet app or web player at http://livetv.hdaustria.at.

The addition of eSports TV to HD Austria follows an agreement concluded between the channel’s operator MTG and M7 Group in September 2016 to make eSports TV available across M7 Group’s TV platforms in Europe.
