The Fight Channel Group has entered the Israeli market with the launch of Fight Channel World HD.
The service is being carried in its basic package by Vonetize, the country’s first OTT VOD platform.
Vonetize is distributing Fight Channel World HD via all connected devices including web portal, mobile apps, smart TV apps and support for casting and dedicated set top boxes.
Fight Channel World HD is dedicated to fighting sports, including MMA, kickboxing and Muay Thai. Aside from Israel, it can be received in Austria, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, Netherlands, Australia, South Africa, Philippines, Croatia, Slovenia and Macedonia.
Fight Channel Group has offices in Las Vegas (US), Abu Dhabi (UAE) and Zagreb (Croatia).
Alongside Fight Channel World HD, it also owns and produces Final Fight Championship’ (FFC) MMA and kickboxing events held in Europe and the US.
Fight Channel Group’s regional TV channel Fight Channel was recently acquired by the Kohlberg Kravis Roberts backed United Group.
