Magyar Telekom now has around 1 million TV subscribers in its home market, Hungary.
In its latest set of results, the company says that the figure at 984,974 as of the end of March, or 2.2% more than in the corresponding period last year.
Meanwhile, blended TV ARPU in the first quarter was HUF3,512 (€11.3), a 7.1% increase on a year earlier.
TV revenues in Hungary in Q1 amounted to HUF10,296 million, an 8.7% increase on a year earlier.
In other markets, Magyar Telekom’s Macedonian subsidiary saw a 6.3% year-on-year increase in TV customers, ending Q1 with 110,797.
Magyar Telekom’s total revenues in Q§1 amounted to €140,507 million (+1.6%).
Its EBITDA was HUF38,342 million (-16.5%) and total profit HUF14,340 million (+25.1%).
