Elias joins Fight Channel Group

Jorge A. Elias has been appointed the new VP of Fight Channel Group.

Fight Channel Group has in Las Vegas (USA), Abu Dhabi (Dubai) and Zagreb (Croatia). It owns and produces the internationally distributed fighting TV channel Fight Channel World HD (FCWHD) and ‘Final Fight Championship’ (FFC) MMA and kickboxing events held in Europe and the USA.

Elias has more than 30 years of senior management experience, including a decade of strategic development and plan execution in the MMA world and TV business. He has been present in the fighting sports world since 2006, working for UFC, Dream Stage, Pride FC and King of the Cage.

Elias has produced more than 400 MMA TV hours for the Hispanic market and has a production relationship with major TV networks in North, Central and South America.

Commenting on the appointment, Orsat Zovko, the president of Fight Channel Group, said: “Jorge Elias is the right person for Fight Channel Group. We believe his strong leadership experience, extensive background and business development skills will help our company to strengthen partnerships, develop strategic alliances and expand our worldwide presence.”

Elias added: “I am very excited to be joining the Fight Channel Group.
I believe Orsat Zovko has a great business model and talented management team that uniquely positions it to capitalize on the sport’s revolution that MMA has created. Last couple of months Orsat and I discussed a lot. We share same vision and same way of thinking and the result of our strategy will soon be seen globally.”

FCWHD is currently present in Austria, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, Israel, Netherlands, Australia, South Africa, Philippines, Croatia, Slovenia and Macedonia while FFC events are broadcasted LIVE in more than 50 countries around the world, on four continents, as well as on numerous national TV stations such as CBS Sports Network (USA) and Canal+ (France).
