Advertising on online VOD services is surprisingly well received by Polish viewers.
Quoting data published by MEC, Wirtualne Media reports that although commercials are on average allocated seven minutes an hour on VOD services, compared to 9.6 minutes by TVP, 11.5 minutes by TVN and 12 minutes by Polsat, the country’s three main broadcasters, they are watched by most of viewers.
Player.pl came in first place with 94%, followed by vod.pl (92%), ipla (91%) and TVP.PL (86%).
Meanwhile, youtube.pl was in fifth place, with ads watched by 84% of viewers and Facebook tenth with 53%.
