Swiss 1, a new commercial TV channel from Switzerland, plans to launch on June 8, 2017.
With original productions in the areas of entertainment and sports, national and international documentaries as well as portraits of personalities, the free-to-air channel mainly targets viewers between 15 and 59 years of age.
Swiss 1 will be distributed in HD quality via cable and IPTV and reach 95% of the households. A video-on-demand service is also planned.
The operator of Swiss 1 is Swiss production company Leguan Productions, the advertising slots will be marketed by Goldbach Media.
