The Royal Television Society has announced James Murdoch will deliver a keynote address at the RTS Cambridge Convention 2017 (September 13-15).
The 21st Century Fox CEO will join a speaker line-up that already includes Andy Harries, Chief Executive of Left Bank Pictures; The Grand Tour executive producer, Andy Wilman; Michelle Guthrie, Managing Director of Australian Broadcasting Corporation and Sharon White, Chief Executive of Ofcom.
Theresa Wise, Chief Executive Officer of the Royal Television Society, said: “James Murdoch’s knowledge of the international broadcasting industry is second-to-none having worked across Asia, Europe and North America. He also leads one of the leading creative, commercial and consumer powerhouses. His keynote will offer a unique insight from a company that has played a big part in shaping the media landscape of today and who are known to challenge convention. He will be joined by a stellar line-up of senior industry figures and future leaders to discuss the challenges of a shifting TV landscape.”
