The Czech public broacaster CT’s board has shortlisted five candidates for the post of director general.
According to E15, the winner, who will head CT for the next six years, will be decided at a board meeting on April 26.
The five shortlisted candidates include the incumbent Petr Dvorak, whose mandate expires on September 30.
Also on the list are Martin Konrád, a former head of Prima TV; Karel Novák, who has spend most of his working career at CT; Jiri Fr. Potuznik; and Petr Vinklar.
CT competes in a TV market in which the other leading players are TV Nova and Prima TV.
It has an annual budget of CZK6.9 billion (€258.5 million).
