Telekom Austria has rebranded its Slovenian subsidiary Si.mobil as A1.
Commenting on the development, Alejandro Plater, CEO of Telekom Austria Group, said: “Implementing the powerful brand A1 in Slovenia is another illustrative example of our strategic approach to utilise well-proven, successful solutions in more than one market. Accordingly, this measure is expected to have the potential to make a contribution to the group’s efficiency and growth targets”.
Dejan Turk, CEO of the Slovenian subsidiary, added: “With the brand A1, we will develop new strengths in the existing market and drive growth, both on the mobile and fixed-line market. The focus is on new digital solutions that we bring to the market. Regardless, we remain a responsible provider with excellent service quality and customer experience”.
Telekom Austria notes that since the acquisition of the fixed-line provider Amis 2015, the Slovenian subsidiary Si.mobil has evolved from a mobile specialist to a convergent full-service provider. The new brand presence is intended to underline this transformation and, in addition, offer all customers advantages through even better services. The entire product portfolio is adapted to the Slovenian market and offers new solutions in the areas of TV, internet, mobile communications and fixed-line.
