A new channel covering the world of aviation and initially targeting the Czech and Slovak markets will make its debut on April 14.
According to Medialne, Up Network is owned by Frantisek Borovsky and will also be available in the Netherlands, Belgium and other European countries, reaching up to 2.5 million households.
In Slovakia, it will be distributed by Skylink, the country’s leading DTH platform, as well as Slovak Telekom’s Magio TV and Digi TV.
Borovsky is the founder and CEO of the Czech-registered companies EFB Network and FBC Media.
He was previously the executive and programme director at TV Barrandov in the Czech Republic and CEO and programme director at the Joj Group in Slovakia.
