Scripps Networks Interactive will launch the Food Network in Italy on May 8.
The first dedicated multi-platform food entertainment channel to be offered in the country, it will be available FTA on LCN33.

Food Network will offer a mix of local original productions and flagship international shows. The former will be produced in Italian and all remaining shows dubbed into Italian.
To accompany the on-air channel, Food Network will launch a localised website.
Scripps has appointed Viacom International Media Networks Pubblicita’ & Brand Solutions to represent Food Network’s advertising sales for both linear and digital services.
Scripps Networks Interactive first entered the Italian market with the launch of Fine Living on DTT in 2014.
