Ukrtelekom will soon be offering its customers in Dnipro internet access of up to 1Gbps.
In a statement, the Ukrainian incumbent says that by the end of H1 around 70,000 subscribers in the city will be able to access advanced services, including interactive TV, through its modernised network.
The modernisation in Dnipro, which began in 2016, is part of a major $250 million upgrade taking place in Kyiv, Zaporizhia, Kharkiv, Odesa, Lviv and Dnipro, the six largest cities in Ukraine.
Due to be completed in 2018, it is being funded by the China Development Bank and receiving technical support from Huawei.
