Andrijana Kadija has been elected DG of the Montenegrin public broadcaster RTCG after three rounds of voting by its council.
Vladimir Pavicevic, the council’s chairman, said he hoped that they chose the right candidate and that the RTCG would be up to its role.
“The Council will actively monitor the work of the RTCG and give its full contribution in order to enable that the Public Service meets the expectations of citizens”.
Kadija, who is an experienced public TV journalist, has held the position of acting DG of RTCG for several months following the dismissal of Rade Vojvodic.
The DG’s term of office is four years.
