Spaniards spend on average almost €75 a month on telecom services, including pay-TV.
According to the results of a study undertaken by Fintonic and published by El Economista, this represents an increase of 5% on the amount last year, the figure set to increases still more this year as price rises come into effect.
The study notes that the highest spending users spend over €125 a month, while 20% barely reach €40.
It also found that the highest spenders were found in the Balearic Islands, Aragon and Madrid, averaging around €80 a month, and younger users favoured services from MásMóvil.
The study extrapolated data from over 150,000 users of Fintonic’s household spending management application.
