The Russian DTH platform operator Orion has deepened its cooperation with Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN).
Acting as a technical partner, it has launched the latter’s Spike channel on the Russian market.
Besides providing maintenance for Spike, it is delivering its signal to cable operators, as well as including it in the DTH platform Telecard’s ‘Unlimited’ package as of March 15.
Spike is being broadcast throughout Russia and the CIS via the Horizons 2 and Express-AM5 satellites and has become the sixth flagship brand and 13th channel from VIMN’s portfolio to be distributed in Russia.
In the case of Orion, Spike is now the eighth VIMN channel it services, while the total number of channels using its services exceeds 300.
