Belá Szabó has been nominated the new director of communication of the Magyar Telekom Group, effective May 15.
He will be in charge of the group level communication activities of Magyar Telekom, including brand management, activities related to sponsorship and events, external and internal communication, as well as media strategy.
Szabó is currently working as director of strategy and innovation at DDB.
Previously, he held important positions at several international agencies including Y&R, where he coordinated Ericsson’s communication activities, and Leo Burnett, as well as Vodafone and MTN.
At Magyar Telekom he will replace Zsófia Bánhegyi.
