German car and motor sports channel Motorvision TV will become available on the cable networks of UPC in Austria and Switzerland in mid-April 2017.
Distribution will be in HD quality. In total, Motorvision TV will reach 1.8 million cable households in both countries through the new carriage deals.
In Switzerland, UPC serves around 1.3 million cable TV households. 700,000 of them are signed up for a premium package. Motorvision TV will be accessible through the Sport TV bouquet from April 20, 2017.
In Austria, UPC has around 500,000 TV customers. Around 370,000 of them use premium offers like the Horizon TV Plus HD package to which Motorvision TV will be added on April 18, 2017.
