Telekom Slovenije has adopted a solution by Caipy to improve the user experience for its TV subscribers.

With Caipy’s boundary detection, the telco can deliver catch-up TV and TV recordings with a perfect start on playback. Before, Telekom Slovenije relied solely on EPGs to deliver the start of a programme.

Commenting on the development, Marko Kroflic, pay-TV R&D at Telekom Slovenije, said: “The Caipy solution has been successfully tested on our various video servers and players and is now being integrated into our systems. So, Telekom Slovenije TV subscribers will soon be able to see the difference and have a much better user experience watching catch-up TV”.

Jorg Nonnenmacher, CEO Caipy, added: “We continue to be thrilled to work with this fantastic company – Telekom Slovenije.

“The team’s capabilities are amongst the best I have seen in Europe – they make things happen. Telekom Slovenije is definitely establishing itself as a leader in the European telecommunications landscape.”
