It means subscribers to the Norwegian cablenet will be able to access Champions League and Spanish and Italian football. Around half a million households will have access to the content.
“Good content is the most important for our customers, in addition to availability on multiple screens. You can access the new channels via both table and mobile, so you will not miss exciting sporting events while on the move, says Birgit Bjørnsen, head of TV and broadband, Telenor Norway.
The new channels included in the basic package are Viasat Sport, Viasat Football, Viasat Hockey and Viasat Motor.
They will be available from April 1, in time for the Champions League play-offs.
