The Romanian state has replaced all its board representatives at Telekom Romania, in which it holds a 45.99% stake.
Business Review reports that the new members, all of whom were sent by the Ministry of Communications, are Ciprian Bolos, Dragos Vlad, Alin Marius and Raluca Purecel.
They succeed Anca Georgescu, Bogdan Voicu and Florin Furdui, appointees of the government that was headed Dacian Ciolos and dissolved at the beginning of this year.
Telekom Romania is majority (54.01%) owned by OTE International, which is backed by Deutsche Telekom.
It provides TV services (DTH, IPTV and cable) to close to 1.5 million subscribers.
