Motorvision TV returns to Entertain TV

February 16, 2017 10.29 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

German car and motor sports channel Motorvision TV will become available on Deutsche Telekom’s IPTV platform Entertain TV again from February 17, 2017.

The distribution will be independent of Sky Deutschland in the Entertain packages Big TV and Sport. Sky removed Motorvision TV from its IPTV offer in early January 2017.

A spokesman of the thematic channel subsequently confirmed to Broadband TV News that discussions were underway with platform operators to carry the channel within their own line-ups via cable, IPTV and OTT outside the Sky portfolio.

Entertain TV customers will be able to receive Motorvision TV in HD quality.

Further additions to Deutsche Telekom’s IPTV platform are Super RTL’s +1 hour time-shift channel Toggo plus, offered free-to-air, and children’s channel Fix&Foxi TV forming part of pay-TV packages Big TV and Kinder.
