Ukraine’s National Council has added a number of international channels to the list of those allowed to be distributed in the country.
The channels, which meet the requirements of the European Convention on Transfrontier Television and Laws of Ukraine, include a local language version of National Geographic Channel.
Also included are 24-hour SD and HD versions of the Polish language channels Novela TV and Water Planet and the 24-hour Latvian channels Sport 1 (Baltic) and Sport 2 (Baltic), which broadcast in Russian, Ukrainian and English.
