TV ad spend reached a record high in the Czech Republic in 2016, with other media also growing strongly.
Data published by Nielsen Admosphere’s Ad Intel shows that it amounted to CZK42.377 billion (€1.57 billion), or 19.4% more than a year earlier.
At the same time, print ad spend increased by 6.5% to CZK19.043 billion, radio by 10.4% to CZK7.048 billion and outdoor by 6.5% to CZK5.209 billion.
Although Nielsen Admosphere’s Ad Intel says that the Czech ad market as a whole grew by 13% in 2016 to over CZK80 billion, it does not provide figures for internet ad spend in the country.
