Mikhail Gutseriev, the co-owner of Russnet, has acquired a 75% stake in Bridge Media, the operator of some of the most popular music channels in Russia.
According to Kommersant, he will develop the business in conjunction with the radio station Russian Hit.
Meanwhile, Maksim Dimitrev and Fedor Strizhkov, the previous co-owners, will retain a 25% stake in the company.
However, Dimitrev will transfer his share into a blind trust in order to avoid a conflict of interest with the Russian Authors’ Society (RAO), which he heads.
Bridge Media’s portfolio includes the channels Bridge TV, Rusong TV, Bridge TV Dance, Bridge TV Classic and Bridge HD.
