WATCH VIDEO. Austrian telco A1 Telekom Austria has introduced a virtual personal video recorder (PVR) for the customers of its domestic IPTV platform A1 TV.
A1 View Control is available to all existing and new A1 TV Plus customers without additional fees.
With the cloud-based PVR, the content of the most popular TV channels can be watched up to seven days after their broadcast.
Up to 10 hours of live TV transmissions can be recorded, stored and viewed for up to 90 days. There are no limitations regarding the number of programmes aired in parallel that can be recorded.
Also, the currently running programme can be paused for up to an hour and continued watching later.
The A1 View Control function can be activated in the user menu in the section settings and View Control.
