3SS develops ran Fighting app for Amazon Fire TV

January 16, 2017 08.29 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

German multiscreen software provider 3 Screen Solutions (3SS) has developed an app making combat sports streaming portal ran Fighting available on Amazon Fire TV.

The move follows the Samsung smart TV app 3SS developed for the subscription service launched by German media company ProSiebenSat.1 in October 2015. The software provider built the front end and elements of the backend for both apps.

“With the new Amazon Fire and Samsung TV apps, ran Fighting further demonstrates its commitment to delivering top-quality content to viewers on a wide range of devices, thereby facilitating greater consumer choice,” said Kai-Christian Borchers, managing director of 3SS.

The OTT service’s content portfolio includes a comprehensive boxing archive as well as major live international martial arts and boxing events. Fans can watch the fights as pay-per-events or via subscription. Following the live broadcast, the coverage can be watched again for 48 hours.
