The Ukrainian broadcaster StarLightMedia has switched the distribution of its channels from Amos-2 to Amos-3.
In a statement, it says this follows the simulcasting of the channels – STB, Noviy Kanal, ICTV, M1, M2 and QTV – that was undertaken by the company on the two satellites in December.
tarLightMedia claims to be the largest media group in Ukraine, with as combined audience share of 27.33% for its channels in the 14-49 aged group, according to Nielsen, in 2015.
It accounted for 34.7% of the country’s TV ad market, while in the online sector its online videos were watched over 150 million times in 2015.
