French pay-television broadcaster SFR Sport, owned by Altice, has agreed a four-year rights deal to cover the World Series of Boxing.
The deal secures exclusive rights to air WSB matches in France, Luxembourg, Switzerland and francophone Belgium.
The agreement, signed with Asloum Event and IMG/WSB, also includes a marketing component to increase the visibility of the matches featuring the French team, which will take part in the 2017 competition under the name of The Fighting Roosters.
The first matches in the qualifying phase will be broadcast on the SFR Sport channels starting February 3.
