Slovakia’s leading cable operator UPC has announced a number of important changes to its offer starting from this month.
They include the introduction of the Horizon HD Mediabox, seven-day archive, MyPrime and Horizon Go.
Furthermore, digital TV subscribers will be offered a choice of three packages: Digital Entry, consisting of 40 channels, 10 in HD; Digital Basic, 100 channels, 25 in HD; and Digital Exclusive, 170 channels, 41 in HD.
Subscribers can also opt for a super Wi-Fi modem that covers their entire house. From this month, UPC is offering internet download speeds of 25, 75, 150 and 300 Mbps.
The contract period for UPC’s services is now 12 months.
UPC currently reaches a combined total of almost 2 million households in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
It provides over 1.6 million services (including satellite TV) to nearly 1 million customers.
