Amos Genish has been appointed chief convergence officer at Vivendi.
In his role, he will be based in Paris and London and oversee the group’s convergence strategy between content, platforms and distribution.
Genish was until recently president and CEO of Telefonica Brasil, a position he had held since May 2015 following the integration of Vivo and GVT after the disposal to Telefonica of the latter by Vivendi.
He was previously the CEO of GVT, a telecom and pay-TV operator he co-founded in 1999.
Prior to GVT, he was the CEO of a technology company traded on Nasdaq.
