Hrvatski Telekom’s supervisory board has appointed Boris Drilo a member of the management board and chief technical and information officer (CTIO) for a three-year period commencing January 1, 2017.
Drilo joined the Croatian incumbent in 2012, coming from Ericsson Group where he spent 12 years at project and managerial functions related with development and application of telecommunications networks and new technologies. He was appointed to HT’s management board from the position of sector director in CTIO area.
Previously, he was a member of the management board in charge of technology and IT of Iskon Internet, a company 100% owned by Hrvatski Telekom.
Commenting on the appointment, Davor Tomaskovic, president of the management board and CEO, said: “It is my great pleasure to welcome Boris’ appointment to the management board, particularly since he is a manager whose career path, starting from the university and continuing through Ericsson Group and HT Group, has been focused on business development in new telecommunications and new technologies areas, and I am convinced that his experience shall significantly contribute towards the development of digital society and strengthening our position of technology leader at the Croatian market.”
Following this appointment the management board consists of Davor Tomaskovic, president, Josef Thuerriegl, in charge of finance, Sasa Kramar, in charge of business customers, Natasa Rapaic, in charge of residential customers, Boris Batelic in charge of customer experience, Marija Felkel, in charge of human resources and Boris Drilo in charge of technology and IT.
