French OTT service Molotov said it has raised EUR22 million in another round of financing.
The money comes from new investments by French transmitter company TDF and Russian investor Mikhail Fridman with his company Letter One. The new money will be used to finance the international expansion of the service.
The news follows the investment of EUR4 million that Sky made last September.
Molotov is the French over-the-top video platform, run by Jean-David Blanc, founder of AlloCiné, and Pierre Lescure, founder of Canal+.
The company has now raised a total of EUR32 and hopes to further raise its capital early 2017 to EUR100 million.
