TDC Group selects Mediamorph for Blockbuster

blockbuster_tdc_samsungtvDanish incumbent telco, TDC Group, has chosen Mediamorph, for its T-VOD service Blockbuster.

Mediamorph is a platform for content orchestration and financial processing, taking care of the management of contracts, supplier royalty reporting, and critical title avails data flowing from content providers. TDC Group’s Blockbuster home entertainment on demand service is the dominant digital retailer in Denmark, with more than 8,000 titles available for sale or rent.

“Digital distribution in a partnership with many content providers requires the right platform to manage rights and finance with both accuracy and transparency,” said Casper Hald, Head of Blockbuster, the TDC Group.

“By implementing Mediamorph’s platform into our business structure, we will not only have the assurance that all content will be available on time with the correct terms to maximize revenue, but also build a bridge our partners to intelligently share our performance.”

TDC Group’s digital growth strategy in the Blockbuster brand has resulted in a massive increase in the combination of contract, rights, restrictions, languages, and availability window information to process and manage. Ensuring accurate metadata around content windows, placement, and pricing calculations helps drive monetization and supports compliance requirements with TDC Group’s growing number of content partners.
