The Czech DTH platform Flix TV is now available in neighbouring Slovakia.
According to Medialne, it has launched with only its basic offer, which consists of 65 TV channels, 18 of which are in HD.

Flix TV is being offered for a six-month upfront payment of €89.99 that also includes a set-top box and pre-paid access card. After this time, viewers will be able to chose from several options, including extending the pre-paid card, moving to a monthly fee or a more comprehensive (Lepsia TV) and thematic (Aktivny and HBO Maxpak) packages. No prices for these have yet been announced.
Flix TV is distributed from Eutelsat 16A at 16 degrees East, using capacity provided by Telekom Austria. In Slovakia, the service has initially partnered with a company named Woodensky.
