Online on-demand streaming service Wuaki.tv will launch a commercial service in the Netherlands in the first quarter of next year.
It has just sent invitations to users who registered to take part in the beta service. The beta site shows video rentals will be available from €2.99 per title and download-to-own from €9.99.
Wuaki already started offering a beta service in the Netherlands last July.
The service offers on-demand movies on a transactional basis from Warner Bros, Sony, HBO, 20th Century Fox, BBC, Disney, independent studios and local producers.
Owned by Japanese internet giant Rakuten, Wuaki’s online streaming service reaches Spain, UK, France, Germany, Italy and Austria.
