Starting Tuesday, December 6, Dutch Ziggo customers can access Netflix directly on their Horizon set-top box.
The announcement follows the global deal between Liberty Global, owners of Ziggo, and Netflix, which was announced last September.
The availability of the Netlfix app follows a few days after Ziggo released the Horizon app for the Dutch Videoland VOD service.
Current Netflix subscribers can log in with their account details and gain access. New customers can sign up directly using the app.
Following the release of the Horizon app to customers in The Netherland, direct Netflix access will be rolled out during the next few months across Liberty Global’s footprint in Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.
