Netflix is paving the way for the launch of a localised service in Ukraine.
According to Mediasat and RBK-Ukraina, the SVOD service has begun to cooperate with several Ukrainian and Russian dubbing studios with the aim of adapting video content or Ukrainian viewers.
They add that initially over 13,000 titles will have Russian language subtitles added to them.
The next step will be to add Ukrainian subtitles.
However, the complete dubbing into the Russian or Ukrainian languages is not yet under way.
Netflix launched in Ukraine in January this year as part of its major global expansion.
It acquired the rights to the Ukrainian series The servant of the people in September and the following month signed an agreement to buy Russian series.
Also this autumn, Netflix introduced localisation in Poland and Turkey.
