HBO España has launched in Spain

November 28, 2016 09.11 Europe/London By Robert Briel

game-of-thrones-season-4HBO España has launched, offering Spaniards access to the streaming service that not only provides all seasons of HBO’s content, but also content from Disney and Nickelodeon.

HBO España, a brand new broadband streaming service, offers a subscription video on demand service providing premium content directly to consumers via hboespaña.com. The launch was first announced last January, set to compete with Netflix.

HBO España has an exclusive partnership with Vodafone España for local distribution, so their clients can access the streaming service via Vodafone TV or on their computers, smartphones and tablets.

HBO España offers all seasons of HBO original content on multiple devices including PC, Mac, tablets and mobile devices (iOS and Android), as well as Apple TV and Google Chromecast anywhere, anytime.

HBO España subscribers will have access to more than 3.000 hours of current HD HBO original series such as Game of Thrones, Westworld, Veep, and Silicon Valley, classic series like Sex and the City, The Sopranos and The Wire as well as series from other content providers such as DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The Exorcist and Preacher as well as movies, documentaries and family content from Disney and Nickelodeon. The offer will include a broad range of titles premiering simultaneously with the US.

With a one-month free trial for all new subscribers, HBO España has a monthly cost of €7.99, allowing subscribers to register five different devices to their subscription and watch two streams of dubbed and subtitled content at the same time from the same account.
